Aeschylus

Aeschylus was an ancient Greek tragedian, often hailed as the "father of Tragedy". His innovations, like introducing a second actor, profoundly shaped the development of Western drama, moving it beyond a purely choral performance. He authored around ninety plays, with seven surviving, including the influential Oresteia trilogy.
