Case Control Study

A Case Control Study is an observational research method that begins by identifying individuals with a particular outcome (cases) and a comparison group without it (controls). Researchers then retrospectively examine past exposures, aiming to find associations that may have led to the outcome. This design is a key type of Observational Study, often employed when a Cohort Study would be impractical for rare conditions.
