Christiania

+Christiania is a green, car-free neighbourhood in [Copenhagen](/wiki/Copenhagen), Denmark, known as a self-proclaimed autonomous community. Established in 1971 by squatters on former military barracks, it fosters an alternative way of life guided by a [free spirit](/wiki/Free_Spirit) and unique self-governance.
