Clavichord

+The **clavichord** is a historical [keyboard instrument](/wiki/keyboard_instrument) where brass tangents strike pairs of strings. Known for its intimate, soft tone and unique dynamic control (*Bebung*), it was a cherished practice instrument before the widespread adoption of the [harpsichord](/wiki/harpsichord).
