Ergodicity

Ergodicity describes systems where the time average of a single process eventually reveals the average of all possible states. It implies that, given enough time, a system will explore its entire Phase Space, making its long-term behavior representative of the whole. This concept bridges Time Average with ensemble averages in many fields.
