+ExFAT (Extended File Allocation Table) is a [file system](/wiki/File_System) developed by Microsoft, designed for flash memory. It allows for much larger individual files and volumes than its predecessor, [FAT32](/wiki/FAT32), making it ideal for high-capacity removable storage.
