Fuzziness describes the state of something being indistinct or without sharp boundaries, where categories are not strictly "yes" or "no" but rather a matter of degree. It acknowledges the inherent imprecision in real-world observations and human understanding. This concept underpins Fuzzy Logic and often contrasts with traditional Boolean Logic.
