Hidden Variables

Hidden variables are hypothetical properties of reality, unobservable and yet believed by some to predetermine the outcomes of quantum events, thus challenging the inherent randomness of Quantum Mechanics. Proponents suggest that if these deeper, unmeasured factors, often linked to concepts like Local Realism, were known, the probabilistic nature of quantum theory would resolve into classical determinism.
