Liberum Veto

+The Liberum Veto was a parliamentary device in the [Commonwealth](/wiki/Commonwealth) that allowed any member of the [Sejm](/wiki/Sejm) to unilaterally block legislation. This unique right, meaning "free veto," could even dissolve the entire session, nullifying all previous acts. Its unchecked power often led to political paralysis, significantly contributing to the state's decline.
