+A magnetic domain is a region within a [Ferromagnet](/wiki/Ferromagnet) where the magnetic moments of atoms are uniformly aligned, pointing in the same direction. These tiny, internal magnets dictate a material's overall [Magnetization](/wiki/Magnetization), shifting and growing in response to an external magnetic field.
