Born in 1986, Smormu, whos full name is Smormu James Carter, is a blue critter whos personality we don't know. Smormu, by a US vote, would become the fifth Smiling Friend. Unfortunately, he would die soon after this achievement in his life.
Voting
Smormu was put up on vote for becoming the Fifth Smiling Friend in the episode Shrimps Odyssey. To vote people would have to ether text "Smormu" to 555-0100 if they wanted Smormu to be a smiling friend, or "No I Really Really Really Don't Want Smormu" to 555-0100 if they didn't. The Official vote came in at the end of the episode, and Smormu would become a Smiling friend. His first and only thing he did was attempt to cheer up Pim after Shrimp and Jennifer fell in love. Smormu would do a little dance to try and cheer him up. While he was dancing, Charlie got up from his seat and walked away, seemingly hating Smormu.
Death
Smormu would die in 2022, living to the the age of 36. Some speculate that Charlie did this, as on the "In loving memory" screen at the end of the credits, we can see that Smormu has purple spots on him, which look like Bruises given to him by someone's punches. After this he was not seen again.
Possible influencer
We did see the thumbnail of a video he made while he was alive on Youtube in the episode Mr. Frog (S1, E2), which was one episode before Shrimp's Odyssey. In the Thumbnail, he was seen close to the Eiffel Tower, and the tittle said: I was ROBBED in Paris. Some people speculate that because Smormu has his video's time at 10:01, which is the minimum time for midroll adds in YouTube to play, Smormu could have been an influencer before he died. This has not been confirmed.
