Submersion

+**Submersion** is the act of placing something entirely within a [liquid](/wiki/liquid). It describes the state of being completely covered, often in [water](/wiki/water), where a body or object is enveloped by a surrounding medium. This can apply to physical objects, living beings, or even abstract states like being "submerged in thought."
