The Blue Rider (Der Blaue Reiter) was a German Expressionist art group formed in Munich in 1911 by Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc. They sought to express spiritual truths through art, using vibrant colors and symbolic forms to explore inner visions and move towards Abstract Art.
